Jacob Adam Hixson

Jacob Adam Hixson, 41, of Lemont Furnace, PA, passed away Saturday, June 15, 2024 at his home. He was born September 22, 1982 in Uniontown, PA.

Jacob was predeceased by his step-father, David Allen Hixson, Sr. and a loving grandfather, Melvin Eugene Ramage.

Jacob was an employee of Stone and Company and a member of the National Pike Steam, Gas, and Horse Association. He was a very loving father, son, and brother, who, along with his son Jacob enjoyed collecting and rebuilding antique tractors. He had 13 large tractors and 26 smaller tractors he had reconditioned.

Surviving are his mother, Susan Kathryn (Ramage) Hixson, son, Jacob Adam Hixson, Jr., and his mother, Jodi Nehls, six siblings: Robert Lee Hixson, Jr., Christopher Travis Hixson (Nicole), David Allen Hixon, Jr. (Amy), Jennifer Lynn Hixson (Rich), Samuel Alexander Hixson (Stephanie), and Sarah Lynn Hixson, his grandmother, Jean Ramage, and many nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received in the Shell Funeral Home, Inc., 164 S. Mt. Vernon Ave., Uniontown, PA Tuesday, June 18th, from 6 to 8 PM and on Wednesday, June 19th, from 1 to 3 and 5 to 7 PM the hour of service with Pastor Travis Edgar officiating. Interment will be private.
