Rosemarie Irene (DeCarlo) Paroda

Rosemarie Irene (DeCarlo) Paroda, 78, of Uniontown, PA, passed away peacefully, Wednesday, January 21, 2026. She was born June 20, 1947 in Torrington, Connecticut.

Preceding her in death were her parents, Bartholomew DeCarlo and Olive Pearl (Sayers) DeCarlo, husband, Kenneth Gene Paroda, and sister, Denota Marie (DeCarlo) Heiskell.

Rose was a very loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She enjoyed baking, working with ceramics, and the years she spent as a foster caregiver.

Left to cherish her memory are her two children, Kenneth Gene Paroda, Jr. (Kim), of Fairchance, PA, and Kim Pegg (Ryan), of Smithfield, PA, four grandchildren: Felicia Paroda, Kenneth Thomas Paroda, Nicholas Pegg, and Nathan Pegg, great-grandson, Waylon Paroda, sister, Evelyn DeCarlo, of Uniontown, and brother, Bartholomew DeCarlo, of Wichita, Kansas.

Friends will be received in the Shell Funeral Home, Inc., 164 S. Mt. Vernon Ave., Uniontown, PA on Wednesday, January 28th from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM when a Blessing Service will be held followed by interment in Oak Lawn Cemetery, Uniontown, PA.
