Bonita "Bonnie" Carole (Pritts) Risha

Bonita "Bonnie" Carole (Pritts) Risha, 79, of Uniontown, PA, passed away peacefully Friday May 1, 2026. She was born October 18, 1946 in Connellsville, PA, daughter of the late Russel Pritts and Thelma (Sleasman) Pritts. Also preceding her in death were her loving husband of 50 years, Thomas A. Risha, Jr., and two brothers, Jerry Michael "Mike" Pritts, and Kerry Zane Pritts.

Bonnie will be remembered as the most loving mother and grandmother. Her children and grandchildren meant the world to her. She treasured and enjoyed the mountains where she grew up and had a love of animals.

Left to cherish Bonnie's memory are three children: Lisa Lynn Downey (Brad) of Uniontown, Heather Susan Murphy (Brian) of Knoxville, TN, and Thomas A. Risha, III of Columbia, SC, grandchildren: Madison Leigh Murphy, Delaney Elise Murphy, Robert Russel Risha, and Grace Emma Risha, several nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews, dear friend Nancy Lee -Reed, and her beloved cats, Baby, and C.C.

The family extends a heartfelt thank you to both Quality of Life Services Henry Clay and Amedisys Hospice Care, who showed great compassion in caring for Bonnie, and also to close family friend, Joy Taylor Anderson, who was our greatest support.

Friends will be received in the Shell Funeral Home, Inc. 164 S. Mt. Vernon Ave. Uniontown, PA on Thursday, May 7th, from 2:00 to 8:00 PM, and on Friday, May 8th, until 10:00 AM the hour of service with Pastor Michael Lyons officiating. Interment will follow in Sylvan Heights Cemetery.
