Mary Eileen (Mochel) Tamblyn

Mary Eileen (Mochel) Tamblyn, 75, of Uniontown, PA, passed away peacefully Tuesday, October 14, 2025. She was born January 18, 1950 in Uniontown.

Preceding her in death were her mother, Margaret Mochel, husband, Charles Tamblyn, and two loving companions, Frank Taylor McNair and James Crews.

Mary had worked for many years as a Dietary Aide with the Laurel Ridge Center until her retirement. She enjoyed playing Bingo, watching the Hallmark channel, and football games, and loved her two cats, Blessing and Hope. Mary was a very loving and fun mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, who will be missed by her family and friends.

Left to cherish her memory are her four children: Charles Eugene Tamblyn (Kelli), of Scottdale, PA, Lewis Taylor Tamblyn (Faith), of Uniontown, Dawn Marie Whales (Bryan), of Philadelphia, PA, and Debra Tamblyn, of Uniontown, three grandchildren, Shane Tamblyn, Wyatt Whales, and Shawn Bollinger, eight great-grandchildren, a brother, John Mochel, and several nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received in the Shell Funeral Home, Inc., 164 S. Mt. Vernon Ave., Uniontown, PA on Sunday, Oct. 19, 2025 from 1:00 to 4:00 PM the hour of service with Pastor Michael Lyons officiating. Interment will be private.
