Charles W. "Chuck" West

Charles W. "Chuck" West, Jr., 58, of Smithton, PA, passed away peacefully Thursday June 4, 2026 at his home with loving family at his side. He was born July 22, 1967 in Brownsville, PA. Chuck was preceded in death by his father, Charles West.

Chuck was a heavy equipment operator. He loved riding his Harley and was a member of ABATE. He was a loving son, companion, father and grandfather, who will be missed by his family and many friends.

Left to cherish his memory are his mother, Marlene (Bailey) West (Rob Crossland), his loving companion Marcie Rogers, children, Chaz West of Smithton, PA, Joseph West and Kayleigh Garlick (Calee), all of Connellsville, PA, grandchildren, Carter, Ava, Kyleigh, and several others, step-mother, Dorothy West, sisters, Charlene Newman (Thomas) and Brenda Bailey (Buddy), both of Uniontown, and other brothers and sisters, and nieces and nephews, James, William, Sissy, Dionna, Dillon, Danny, and several others.

Friends will be received in the Shell Funeral Home, Inc. 164 S. Mt. Vernon Ave. Uniontown, PA on Wednesday, June 10, from 3:00 to 7:00 PM the hour of service with Pastor Michael Lyons officiating. Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the family.
